The media affairs wing of the army stated on Monday that Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir visited with Bahrain’s King, Sheikh Hamad bin Isa bin Salman Al-Khalifa, to discuss military and security cooperation. The army chief is currently in the Kingdom of Bahrain for a two-day official visit, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR). Gen Munir paid visits to King Hamad, Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Field Marshal Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander of the Bahrain Defence Forces, and General Shaikh Mohammad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Commander of the Bahrain National Guard, during his tour. “Matters of mutual interest, including bilateral military and security cooperation, were discussed during the meetings,” the statement read. The dignitaries praised the Pakistan Army’s counterterrorism victories.
