Lahore: On Tuesday, Punjab Caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi evaluated the state of construction while on a visit to the Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC). He looked over the calibre of the work being done on the emergency block, which is presently being finished. He gave the go-ahead to enhance the OPD at the Punjab Institute of Cardiology and urged the officials to complete the emergency block upgrade project by the end of December. He said that the improvement project for the PIC OPD will start the next week. Provincial Ministers Amir Mir, Dr. Javed Akram, Secretary of Works and Communication, Secretary of Health, CCPO, Commissioner Lahore Division, and other pertinent officials were present during the visit. The CM stated in a media interview that the PIC’s design, which was created through consultation, is expected to be finished by December 30.
