CM Maryam visits Huawei hqs

The Punjab When Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif arrived at Huawei Technologies’ Bantian headquarters in the Longgang district of Shenzhen, Huawei officials greeted her with open arms.
She met with Mr. Wang Chengdong, Huawei’s Government Affairs Director, to talk about many projects aimed at transforming Lahore into a cutting-edge digital metropolis, according to a press release here. She also talked to him about e-commerce, the development of ecosystems and ICT infrastructure, and the digitisation of the education and health sectors.
Huawei President Wang Chengdong gave the CM a thorough briefing on the company’s current initiatives in Pakistan, particularly in Punjab. She spoke with him about Huawei’s efforts with great enthusiasm. She promised to develop Lahore Pakistan’s first contemporary smart city and informed him of the Safe City initiatives in other Punjabi cities.
