Despite Thursday’s intense rains, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif praised the local administration and Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) for their prompt reaction to the water drainage task within a few hours.
The CM praised the efforts of the commissioner, deputy commissioner, WASA representatives, and affiliated personnel in keeping their operations running during periods of high precipitation in order to dispose of rainwater. She continued, “Draining rainwater from the city in a matter of hours is a remarkable and splendid performance.”
According to Maryam Nawaz, WASA and the other relevant departments worked hard and devotedly to help the people. She gave the department heads instructions to ensure that everyone is at ease and comfortable by performing very well going forward.
