CM Maryam inaugurates Pakistan’s first electric bus service

Pakistan’s first fully electric bus service was inaugurated on Friday by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.
On a bus, she received a briefing from Bilal Akbar, the  minister for transportation. With just one charge, the bus can go 250 kilometers. To replenish batteries, nine charging stations have been set up. In addition to carrying 80 passengers, it will have 30 seats.

In the electric bus, women will have their own compartments.
At first, 27 electric buses will travel 21 kilometers from the Railway Station to Green Town via the Campus Bridge, Queen’s Road, Mozang, Ferozepur Road, and canal. Every nine minutes, the bus will depart.

Both digital wallets and digital cards can be used to pay for the fare.
