CM Maryam calls for civilized attitude to end food wastage

To stop food waste, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has urged a civilised mindset.

She brought attention to the serious problem of food insecurity, which affects millions of people worldwide, in her statement on World Food Day. She underlined that the billions of tonnes of food waste were alarming.

Maryam Nawaz emphasised that Islam forbade food waste and underlined the importance of food blessings.

She claimed that in order to reduce food waste in homes, hotels, and ceremonies, polite attitude was required. Maryam described food waste as a sign of negligence and indifference.

The chief minister of Punjab declared that the one dish policy was being successfully applied to reduce food waste. She cautioned that there would be severe consequences for breaking the one-dish restriction.
