CM Maryam announces Punjab’s first state-run cancer hospital

On Monday, Maryam Nawaz, the Chief Minister of Punjab, said that the first state-run cancer hospital would be established in Valencia Town, Lahore. The chief minister was informed on several aspects of the project  during her visit to the proposed cancer hospital site near Valencia  Town. Maryam gave instructions on how to invite the world’s top  physicians to the projected cancer hospital. She also gave directions for the construction of restaurant for  those who were caring for cancer patients. She claimed that the first government cancer hospital in Punjab  would provide free treatment to the patients. She claimed that the medical facility would have cutting-edge equipment and highly skilled physicians. Maryam Nawaz was attended by MPAs Khawaja Salman Rafiq and  former senator Pervez Rashid.
