Christian community is a precious asset for Pakistan: President

Sunday, President Asif Ali Zardari congratulated the Christian community for celebrating Easter.

According to the president, every religious community in Pakistan is entitled to certain constitutional privileges.

In a message, the president stated that Pakistan grants religious, political, social, and economic rights to every community.

“The Christian community is an invaluable resource for Pakistan,” he declared, adding that Easter sent a message of love, hope, and prosperity, according to a news release from President Secretariat news Wing.

He acknowledged the contributions made by the Christian community to the advancement of the nation and added that this community had always contributed to the prosperity and success of the nation.

The President reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to defending the rights of all groups.
