Chiniot Deputy Commissioner inaugurates digital census

Chiniot: Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Asif Raza inaugurated the seventh digital census in Chiniot district, on this occasion the staff of Statistics Department, DSP Legal and officers of Pakistan Army were also present. Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Asif Raza formally started the campaign by doing door marking, on this occasion he said that the census will continue from 1st March to 1st April, Chiniot district has been divided into 1187 blocks and 594 teams in the district have gone door to door for each person.  They will compile records while 90 supervisors will perform duties for the supervision of these teams.  In his message to the citizens, the Deputy Commissioner asked them to provide the correct data of their houses and all persons to the teams or register them through the website of the Government of Pakistan.  Collaborate with the teams because this census will enable the distribution and development of the country’s resources.
