Chinese firm shows interest in investing in Pakistan

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif was visited here on Wednesday by Zhu Zhaojiang, the chairman of the Chinese company Transsion Holdings.

He expressed his company’s interest in increasing investment in the cell phone manufacturing facility as well as in the modern agricultural, electric bike, cell phone manufacturing, and Fintech sectors.

During his five-day official visit to China, the prime minister encouraged Pakistan’s ambassador in China and the relevant federal ministers to work with the Chinese corporation to develop an early strategy.

He claimed that international investors and businessmen were receiving full facilitation from the current government. Transsion Holdings was also invited by him.

to produce things in Pakistan with the intention of exporting them, pointing to the nation’s wealth and youthful population.

The prime minister was informed by Zhu Zhaojiang about his company’s present activities in Pakistan and worldwide exports.
