Bollywood actor returns to India after cancer treatment

Irrfan Khan, who had flown to London in March last year to get treated for a neuroendocrine tumour, is back in India.

The actor has been away from limelight ever since his treatment started last year.

Back in India, it is now speculated that the actor will begin shooting for the sequel of his film, Hindi Medium. A source confirmed to Filmfare, “Irrfan is back in Mumbai. But people are publishing all sorts of stories without any confirmation. They are not true. I will get an update on his health and when will he be resuming work when I meet the actor soon.”

Apart from Hindi Medium 2, he will be seen in a biopic on Udham Singh, to be directed by Shoojit Sircar.
