Bill Gates lands in Islamabad on a short visit

ISLAMABAD : One of the world’s richest men and founder of software company Microsoft Corporation Bill Gates landed here on Thursday morning on a short visit of Pakistan.

Besides holding talks with President Dr Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Imran Khan, Bill Gates will also visit the headquarters of the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), the nerve centre to synergize and articulate a unified national effort against Covid-19.

Bill Gates will also attend a briefing where he will be informed about the steps to stem coronavirus and polio from Pakistan.

According to sources, Bill Gates will return in the evening after the one-day visit.
