Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif was visited by Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Sunday at his home in Model Town, Lahore.
Sources said that both leaders spoke on the political atmosphere in the country following the 26th Amendment, with Bilawal referring to it as a historic step.
The 27th Amendment was also discussed during the meeting.
The PPP chairman was accompanied by former prime minister Raja Pervez Ashraf and Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider.
The meeting was also attended by PM Rana Sanaullah’s adviser, Azam Nazir Tarar, the law minister, and Speaker of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq.
“The credit of 26th amendment goes to the allies, we served the public before and we will keep serving them,” the Prime Minister stated.
