Prime Minister Imran Khan chaired an important meeting on Tuesday to review the government’s achievements in its first 100 days.

The meeting was attended by Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry, PM’s Special Assistant for Political Affairs Naeemul Haq, Chief Secretary Azam Khan, Advisor to the prime minister on establishment Arbab Shehzad, Senator Faisal Javed, Iftikhar Durrani among other PTI leaders.

The meeting assessed the 100-day performance and achievements of government.

The PM was briefed on the government’s austerity campaign, Naya Pakistan Housing project, institutional reforms, performance of task forces, implementation on cabinet decisions, performance of ministers and reports of ministry and divisions.

A briefing was also given on the performance of federal ministries, including communication, information, housing, railways, law, environmental change and privatisation.

The participants exchanged views over the preparations for the ceremony related to the 100-day plan.

During the meeting, Prime Minister said that his government is in the right direction and will achieve all the set goals. He vowed to fulfill every single promise made to the nation.

The PM asserted that the benefits of the government’s reforms will soon reach the public.

The premier expressed determination to stabilize the economy.

On the other hand, PM has convened Federal Cabinet’s meeting on Thursday to discuss implementation on the government’s 100-day plan.

The Prime Minister will chair the meeting, which will discuss and review the implementation of the 100-day plan.
The PTI government after coming into power in August this year presented a plan comprising targets to be achieved during the initial 100 days of the government.

Sources said that different divisions and ministries have sent their progress report regarding the 100-day plan to the Prime Minister.

The performance of the ministries will also come under discussion at the meeting.

They said that the Prime Minister will share the details 100-day plan’s implementation with the public the same day after the cabinet’s meeting.

Besides the 100-day plan, the cabinet will also discuss the economic situation of the country.

Federal Minister for Finance will brief the meeting on the overall economic situation and the recent unsuccessful talks with the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

The Cabinet will also review the implementation status of the decisions taken in the past meetings.

The cabinet is also expected to rectify MoUs and agreements signed with different countries. Appointments in different public sector organisations will also be approved in the meeting.
