Shehbaz Sharif stated that Pakistan is looking for cooperation with friendly countries on his first tour as prime minister, stating that “gone are the days” when officials would travel to friendly countries carrying bowls of food to beg.
“My days of travelling to our friendly nations bearing a bowl of food to beg are long gone. During a session on Thursday in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the Gulf state, the premier, who is now on a day-long visit to the country, declared, “I have broken that bowl.”
Long-standing brotherly ties with a strong religious and cultural bond exist between Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates. Regular high-level interactions are one of the characteristics that set the two nations’ fraternal relations apart.
