All of the province assembly in the nation have now been constituted following the swearing-in of the lawmakers of the Balochistan Assembly on Wednesday. As the session’s presiding officer, Zamrak Khan Achakzai gave the oath to the 57 newly elected parliamentarians. In view of anticipated protests and the current state of peace and order in the province, Achakzai was designated as the session’s presiding officer, and authorities prohibited visitors from entering. The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) parliamentarians, who have emerged as the two biggest parties in the 65-member House, are among the 51 members who were elected to general seats and took an oath of office today. There are 11 seats in the legislature designated for women and three for minorities.
