Strengthening legislative and economic links between Iran and Pakistan was a topic of discussion between Iran’s ambassador, Dr. Amiri Moghaddam, and Speaker of the National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, on Sunday. A news release stated that Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq reiterated Pakistan’s long-standing familial tie with Iran, which is built in shared religious beliefs, history, and culture. In order to boost the economies of both countries, especially those residing on both sides of the common border, he underlined the necessity of deepening these links even further by extending collaboration across all mutual areas of interest, particularly in energy and trade. The speaker emphasised how both nations’ strategic locations offer substantial chances for promoting trade and connectivity on a regional and worldwide scale.
