Australia have whitewashed the Green Caps in a two-match series,  Kangaroos  also beat Pakistan by an innings and 5 runs in the Brisbane Test.

Adelaide:Australia have whitewashed the Green Caps in a two-match series,  Kangaroos  also beat Pakistan by an innings and 5 runs in the Brisbane Test.

This is Pakistan’s 14th consecutive Test match in Australia and the fifth consecutive defeat in the series.

In the second innings of the Pinkball Test, Pakistan was bowled out for 239 in reply to Australia’s 589, and thus suffered the national team one innings and 48 runs in the match.

Pakistan started their second unbeaten innings on the fourth day of the game, needing 248 more runs to finish off Australia’s first innings lead and Shan Masood and Asad Shafiq were on wicket.

Nathan Lyon take five wickets in Adelaide test

Pakistan’s score reached 123 runs, Shan Masood fell to Nathan Lyon by 68 runs, Asad Shafiq also got out by Nathan Lyon, he played 57 runs.

Iftikhar Ahmed (27), Mohammad Rizwan (45) and Yasir Shah (13) were out, while Nathan Lyon (5) and Josh Hazlewood (3) were all out for Australia in the second innings.

David Warner was named the best player of the match on a brilliant triple century.

Australia also beat Pakistan by an innings and 5 runs in the Brisbane Test.
