On Monday, Muhammad Aurangzeb, the minister of finance, declared that the government would help the salaried class as soon as possible.
According to Aurangzeb’s comments in an interview, “We understand their (the salary class) pain and I empathise.”
The minister went on to say that the government was making a lot of effort to include shops in the tax system. He went on to say that non-filers will have to reconsider their decision to stay off the internet three, four, or five times as a result of the new punitive measures.
Additionally, Aurangzeb stated that the administration intends to reach a staff-level deal with the IMF this month.
The minister acknowledged that Pakistan barely has enough funds to last a few months, which means the nation keeps going back to the IMF.
