Attack on Israel achieved all its objectives: Iran army

As a kind of reprisal for a deadly hit on Iran’s Damascus consulate, the Iranian army declared on Sunday that its drone and missile attack on Israel had “achieved all its objectives”.
According to Iranian military chief of staff Mohammad Bagheri, “Operation Honest Promise…was completed successfully from last night to this morning and achieved all its objectives” on state television.
Iran has stated that it attacked Israel in self-defense after the attack on its diplomatic mission in Damascus on April 1st, which was primarily attributed to Israel.
The five-story consular annex of the Iranian embassy in the Syrian capital was destroyed in the Damascus strike, which also claimed the lives of seven Revolutionary Guardsmen, including two generals.
