Assistant Commissioner reviews auction process

Kot Addu: Assistant Commissioner Kot Addu Mohammad Asghar Iqbal Laghari visited the vegetable and fruit market early in the morning and reviewed the auction of fruits and vegetables and conducted the auction under his supervision. On this occasion, the staff of the market committee, the secretary general of the vegetable market Chaudhry Abdul Waheed and other officials was also present. Speaking on the occasion, Assistant Commissioner Kot Addu said that monitoring is going on to control the prices of vegetables and fruits on the instructions of the Punjab government. The auction process is being checked regularly in the vegetable market. For which all possible measures are being taken, he instructed the officers of the market committee to keep a close watch on the supply and demand of vegetables and fruits. It is very important to maintain a balance between demand and supply to control the prices of vegetables and fruits. He further said that the purpose of the review of the auction process in the vegetable and fruit market is to provide cheap food items in the markets so that the benefit of the food items provided at all government rates reaches the common man.
