Alvi assures Abbas of continued support for Palestine cause

On Friday, President Dr. Arif Alvi spoke with Mahmoud Abbas, the President of Palestine, over the phone and pledged Pakistan’s unwavering support for settling the Palestinian conflict in line with the pertinent UN Security Council (UNSC) resolutions. In light of the horrors that Israel is doing against the Palestinian people, the president of Pakistan conveyed his sincere condolences and sorrow on behalf of the Pakistani people and government. The entire Pakistani people is very grieved by the brutalities and reign of terror inflicted by the Israeli security forces, he said, deploring the situation in Gaza as “very painful”. He vehemently denounced Israel’s deadly attack, which even targeted hospitals and schools.
