Reddit users discovered an unreleased video of Alia Bhatt from the Met Gala 2023 in which the New York paparazzi mistakenly thought she was Aishwarya Rai.

At one of the biggest fashion shows in the world, Alia was making her debut. The video shows that she handled it well on the red carpet. Alia appears in the video wearing her enchanted ball gown. She wore a ball gown with an exaggerated basque waist made of ivory silk tulle, satin face organza, and hand-beaded pearls from the Prabal Gurung atelier. As seen in the video, she arrived at the event with the designer when some paparazzi addressed her as Aishwarya.

However, Alia paused for the cameras and smiled before Prabal helped her with the dress and she walked off.
