Ahsan highlights Pak-UK deep-rooted economic, cultural ties

In a meeting with British lawmakers on Wednesday at Portcullis House in Westminster, Federal Minister for Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives Ahsan Iqbal emphasized Pakistan’s longstanding cultural and economic connections with the United Kingdom.

Speaking to the audience, he cited Pakistan’s historical leadership in growth throughout the 1960s and how its economic model served as an inspiration to other countries, according to a news release.

He underlined the government’s present emphasis on Balochistan’s development, guaranteeing the improvement of nearby villages via significant investment and infrastructural initiatives.

He claimed that in addition to solarizing residential units, offering student scholarships, and operationalizing the city, the government had finished a number of revolutionary projects in Gwadar, such as the construction of a modern hospital, a university, a technical and vocational center, water plants, and a vast road network.
