Agri development vital for economic future : Ahsan Iqbal

Ahsan Iqbal, the federal minister for planning, development, and special initiatives, stated on Sunday that Pakistan’s economic future depends on the growth of its agricultural sector.
In an interview with the media during the 16th International Food, Hospitality & Beverage Industry Exhibition and Conference held at the Expo Centre, he congratulated the organisers of the successful 16th Food Asia International Trade Fair and emphasised how the nation could greatly increase its resources by exporting agricultural products, which could bring in billions of dollars.
The planning minister underlined that the country’s current problems could only be solved by developing the agricultural sector. He presented ideas for a revolutionary “Green Revolution,” one that would use technology breakthroughs to boost agricultural output and propel the growth of the country.
