‘Aggressors in Kurram to be treated as terrorists’

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa govt has warned that any party resorting to violence in the Kurram district will be treated as terrorists once the present bunkers are removed.
Barrister Muhammad Saif, the adviser to the KP Chief Minister, stated on Friday that Kurram will be free of weapons and bunkers in accordance with the Apex Committee’s ruling in order to maintain lasting peace.
Both parties to the conflict have been given 15 days to present a comprehensive plan for giving up their weapons, Barrister Saif emphasized. The use and exhibition of firearms in public will also be strictly prohibited in Kurram. Additionally, it will be illegal to raise money for regional arms procurement.
