Young Ye, the Country Director of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), paid Muhammad Aurangzeb, the Minister of Finance and Revenue, a visit on Thursday to talk about current and upcoming projects that will support Pakistan’s economic growth.
According to a news release from the finance ministry, they reaffirmed their dedication to fortifying their relationship with the same objective of fostering sustainable economic growth and development in the nation.
Additionally, the state of policy-based programmes that are currently in operation was also covered, such as the Climate and Disaster Resilience Enhancement Programme (CDREP) and the Public Private Partnership (PPP) Programme.
Young Ye said that the market has reacted favourably to the news and praised the Minister of Finance and Revenue on reaching a staff level agreement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
