Acting President vows to further expand Pak-Qatar relations

Pakistan places a high priority on its relationship with Qatar, according to Acting President Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, who also emphasised the significance of further developing bilateral ties in areas where both parties stand to gain.

He made these remarks in an interview with Ali Mubarak Ali Essa Al-Khater, the ambassador of Qatar, who paid him a visit today in Islamabad.

According to the acting president, there is a lot of room for both nations to expand their trade and economic ties. He encouraged Qatari businesses to benefit from Pakistan’s investment-friendly climate.

The ambassador praised Pakistan as a business-friendly nation and announced that Qatar’s investment minister would soon travel to Pakistan with his group to investigate potential investment opportunities in a number of industries that would support the development of economic relationships.
