In the final , Butt was once 0-2 down against Georgian wrestler but game changed in last 15 seconds of the event when Inam overpowered his opponent and took him down to clinch five important points to win the fight with a score of 5-2.

The gold medalist was welcomed with flowers, chants and the beat of drums, from other fellow wrestlers at Lahore airport.

The seasoned wrestler bagged gold after a shock victory over Georgia’s Dato Marsagishvili in the final at Doha on Monday.
