Malik achieved the feat during Guyana Amazon Warriors’ win over Barbados Tridents in the ongoing Caribbean Premier League (CPL).
Malik played a brilliant play of 32 runs from 19 balls as Warriors defeated Tridents by 30 runs and entered the finals.
The former Pakistan cricketer has also taken 142 wickets as bowler.
Swashbuckling West Indies opener Chris Gayle holds the record in T20s. Gayle has 13,051 runs in 394 matches, and followed by Brendon McCullum with 9,922 runs in 370 matches at third place Kieron Pollard with 9,757 runs.
Malik has represented Pakistan in 35 Tests, 287 ODIs and 111 T20Is.
