ISLAMABAD : The Supreme Judicial Council on Monday dismissed a misconduct complaint against the Jusice Qazi Faez Isa for writing letters to the President Dr. Arif Alvi over allegedly not disclosing foreign properties in his wealth statement.
A citizen named Waheed Dogar filed the reference against him for writing to the President on which SJC remarked that the content of the letter isn’t grave or serious to remove him from the office.
According to the details, the SJC issued decision of one of the two references filed against him on its website. Decision stated that letter was meant for the President only and Justice Isa was also under pressure because of his father-in-law and daughter.
The SJC ordered Justice Isa to explain his conduct for writing letters to the President of Pakistan. The Supreme Court judge is also facing another reference regarding failure to declare his alleged foreign properties.
