Gold reaches record high at Rs78,350 per tola

The value of gold in Pakistan has hit a record high, as the per tola price of the yellow metal reached 78,350 on Monday after an increase of Rs750, a private media house reported.

The price of 10-gram gold also witnessed an increase of Rs643 and was traded at Rs68,029.

Gold prices in the international market also soared by $8 per ounce.
