In addition to looking into potential future areas of collaboration between the two countries, US Charge d’Affaires Natalie A. Baker visited Federal Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan on Wednesday to discuss strategies for enhancing bilateral trade and investment ties.
According to a news release, the minister praised Baker and the US administration for a seamless handover of power in the US during the meeting and expressed hope for further strengthening bilateral ties in the years to come.
Both parties reiterated their dedication to expanding trade between them and promoting cooperation in important economic areas.
Expanding agricultural cooperation, emphasizing value-added textiles and agricultural goods, and investigating growth prospects in the cotton sector were the main topics of discussion.
