Since the ceasefire agreement was announced on Wednesday, Israeli attacks on Gaza have killed 71 Palestinians and injured 200 more, according to the Palestinian Civil Emergency Service.
According to Al Jazeera, two top Hamas officials have refuted Israeli claims that the Palestinian resistance organization is reversing some of the terms of the Gaza truce and agreement on the release of captives.
Sami Abu Zuhri, a Hamas spokesman, stated that Netanyahu’s allegations that the movement was reversing the terms of the ceasefire deal were unfounded.
“Hamas is committed to the ceasefire agreement, which was announced by the mediators,” Izzat al-Risheq, a member of the Hamas political bureau, said in a statement.
