PM for strict measures to accelerate taxation

On Thursday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif gave the relevant authorities severe instructions to enforce the revenue collection plan and guarantee efficient and timely taxation.

According to a PM Office news release, the prime minister, who presided over a review meeting on the nation’s economic status and the Federal Board of Revenue’s (FBR) digitisation, stated that the FBR’s digitisation was a crucial part of the government’s economic reform plan.

He praised the efforts of the finance minister, state minister for finance, FBR chairman, and secretary of finance and acknowledged the advancements made in the digitisation of the FBR.

He expressed delight with the growing fiscal flexibility and stated the economic team’s efforts were paying off.
