Pakistan wants to improve ties with Russia: Leghari

Pakistan wants to strengthen its cultural ties, sports, and human resource development with Russia, according to Energy Minister Awais Ahmed Khan Leghari.
He stated in a Russian media interview that a test goods train will begin service between Russia and Pakistan in March. In order to boost connectivity and encourage business, he added, we are also thinking about launching direct flight connections between Pakistan and Russia.

According to the Minister, Pakistan can gain from deeper and more effective regional cooperation with BRICS members.
