Pakistan wants to enhance its economic, trade ties with Russia: Ayaz

Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, the speaker of the National Assembly, stated that Pakistan wished to strengthen its commercial and economic relations with the Russian Federation.

According to a press release received here on Friday, the Speaker and a parliamentary delegation visited the Federal Assembly of Russia to meet with Ms. Valentina Matvienko, the Speaker of the Federal Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.

Members of the National Assembly Sher Ali Arbab, Dr. Muhammad Farooq Sattar, Abdul Qadir Patel, Syed Agha Rafiullah, and Rana Muhammad Hayat Khan made up the legislative delegation.

Ayaz Sadiq conveyed his appreciation at the meeting for Ms. Valentina Matvienko’s cordial welcome to him and his delegation.

Speaking of her recent trip to Pakistan, Ms. Valentina Matvienko praised the warmth and welcome shown.
