Anarchist group wants bloodshed, not revolution, says PM Shehbaz

The incident on the Srinagar Highway, when Rangers and police officers were allegedly mowed down by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) members, was sharply denounced by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and President Asif Ali Zardari on Tuesday.
They prayed for the victims’ ranks to be raised in the hereafter and for the bereaved families to have the fortitude to cope with the loss, expressing their profound sorrow for the martyrdom of Rangers personnel in the tragedy.
In his statement, the PM instructed the relevant authorities to find the offenders, hold them accountable, and provide the injured security personnel with the finest medical care available.
“Attacking the police and Rangers in the name of so-called peaceful protests is condemnable,” said the premier.
He said that the “anarchist group” is specifically targeting law enforcement.
