Indian skipper Virat Kohli, who is currently Down Under for the ongoing Test series, and has been in the news for his war of words with his Australian counterpart Tim Paine, has now been called ‘the world’s worst behaved player’ by actor-director Naseeruddin Shah, reported Economic Times.
Taking to Facebook, the ‘Maqbool’ actor wrote: “Virat K is not only the world’s best batsman but also the world’s worst behaved player. His cricketing brilliance pales beside his arrogance and bad manners.. And I have no intention to leave the country by the way.
Earlier, Kohli had been trolled after the 30-year-old asked a fan to leave India in a promotional video.
Shah’s post received mixed response with some fans defending the cricketer, saying that the aggression was required to beat Australians, and supporting Kohli, while some agreed with the actor.
On Monday, Kohli and Paine came close to chest bumping when the Indian skipper walked in front of Paine while he was close to completing a run.
