Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, the speaker of the National Assembly, stated Tuesday that Pakistan is firmly committed to developing amicable and cordial ties with Australia.
He emphasised the value of strengthening parliamentary diplomacy as a way to increase bilateral connections between the two countries during a meeting with Australian High Commissioner to Pakistan Neil Hawkins.
Comprehensive discussions were held throughout the conference on a variety of topics, such as regional cooperation, global challenges of mutual interest, and the development of bilateral ties.
“Pakistan places great importance on its cordial and friendly relations with Australia,” he stated, adding that strengthening these relationships may be greatly aided by parliamentary diplomacy.
The Speaker emphasised the value of parliamentary discussions in fostering greater understanding and collaboration between the two nations.
