Iran and Pakistan criticised Israel’s genocidal acts against innocent populations and its unchecked military aggressiveness in the Middle East on Tuesday. They also questioned why the international community hasn’t done more to stop the Zionist state from violating the UN Charter and international law.
Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi and Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar told the media in a joint press stakeout after their meeting that Israel’s illegal actions in occupied territories, which violate international humanitarian law, the UN Charter, and international law, were the main source of all Middle East tensions.
The Middle East issue, the denial of the right to self-determination, the necessity of advancing responsibility and respecting international law were the main topics of discussion between the two parties.
