On Thursday, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan reiterated their commitment to strengthening their collaboration in important fields like information technology, mining, agriculture, and the economy.
According to a press release from the President House, both President Asif Ali Zardari and the visiting Saudi delegation, led by Saudi Minister for Investment Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih, stressed the importance of cooperating to create a prosperous and peaceful future for the Islamic World and the region during their meeting at the Aiwan-e-Sadr.
The president welcomed the group and stressed Pakistan’s long-standing and reliable partnership with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
He emphasised that such cooperation would bring the two brotherly countries even closer and reiterated Pakistan’s wish to develop the bilateral ties into a long-term strategic and economic partnership.
President Zardari underlined Pakistan’s unshakeable commitment to standing in solidarity with Saudi Arabia, as well as Pakistan’s deep esteem for King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.
He also commended Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, for his innovative leadership.
The president also conveyed gratitude for the Kingdom’s ongoing support of Pakistan through difficult times and praised the outstanding advancements Saudi Arabia was making under Vision 2030. The president expressed his happiness at Saudi Arabia’s development and wealth.
