CM Maryam Nawaz stresses peace of mind for balanced life

On World Mental Health Day, people from all over the world unite to advocate for global initiatives to promote mental well-being and to increase awareness of mental health issues.

 

With millions of individuals afflicted by disorders including stress, worry, and depression, mental health has emerged as one of the most urgent public health challenges.

In 2024, the priorities will be eradicating the stigma, expanding access to mental health services, and highlighting the value of preventative and early intervention measures.

On World Mental Health Day, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz underlined the value of mental health, stressing that contentment and optimistic thinking form the basis of a life that is well-balanced. In order to guarantee that people in need receive the right care and support, she reaffirmed her government’s commitment to improving mental health facilities throughout Punjab.

Maryam Nawaz emphasised in her message that people who are struggling with mental health issues should receive support and compassion rather than disregard from society. She admitted that many people suffer in silence as a result of mental health issues being frequently ignored.
Maryam Nawaz urged people to take mental health issues seriously, saying that treating mental health conditions is just as important as treating physical ones.
