Civil, military leadership reaffirms solidarity with Kashmiris

The leaders of the armed forces, along with President Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, have reiterated their unwavering support for the brave and tenacious people of Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
President Asif Ali Zardari stated in his Youm-e-Istehsal message that India’s actions since August 5, 2019, have shown utter contempt for international law, the aspirations of the Kashmiri people, and the resolutions of the UN Security Council concerning Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to him, it is imperative that the international community press India to stop violating human rights in Kashmir and to put the pertinent UN Security Council resolutions into effect.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif stated in his message that Pakistan will assist the people of Kashmir with strong moral, political, and diplomatic ties till their inherent right to self-determination is realised.
