Economic policies show results, inflation drops sharply: Musadik Malik

Under the direction of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the federal minister for petroleum, Dr. Musadik Malik, declared on Tuesday that the government’s economic policies were producing favourable outcomes. He emphasised that food inflation has significantly decreased, from 48% to 2%, and that continued efforts are being made to further reduce price increases and offer relief to the general public.

Dr. Malik stated at a news conference that as a result of government actions, the nation’s overall inflation rate had dropped from 38% to 12%. According to him, the economy was heading towards stability since the inflation rate was steadily declining. Speaking on the government’s top priorities, the minister said that it was concentrating on lowering inflation, easing poverty, and giving young people access to the workforce.
