Mohsin Naqvi, the federal minister of interior, ordered the Capital Development Authority (CDA) to remain vigilant on Tuesday as heavy rains fell over Islamabad.In order to ensure that water from low-lying regions drains in a timely manner, the minister called CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa and gave him instructions to speed up the drainage process under his supervision. Additionally, he gave the order for pertinent officials and employees to stay on the job site until the drainage project was finished.He stressed the importance of making sure water drains at underpasses and other places while overseeing routine monitoring of Islamabad’s streets, drains, and streams.In order to preserve traffic flow, he also gave traffic cops proactive instructions. He declared that more resources ought to be used for the drainage of water.
