Inflation is unacceptable: Punjab Chief Minister

In her role as chair of a special meeting on the price increase of chicken, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif stated that the cost of chicken should be kept within the means of the average person.
The CM declared that inflation was intolerable in any scenario and that field monitoring should be conducted by all pertinent agencies. She became enraged at the province’s ongoing price increases for chicken and poultry items and voiced grave concerns about the inflated cost of chicken. She gave the order to establish a regulatory framework to set the price of chicken.
Given that chicken is one of the most popular foods, CM Maryam Nawaz questioned where the relevant institutions were located.
