Sunday saw horrific carnage erupt around the Middle East as Israel swiftly bombed Gaza, Lebanon, and Yemen in retaliation for strikes by militant groups supported by Iran.
While the top diplomat in Washington claims that a deal is almost at the “goal line” to end the devastating war between Israel and Hamas, the rulers of Gaza, that has lasted for over nine months, the Israeli military continued its offensive in the besieged Palestinian territory, claiming to have intercepted a missile.
The civil defence organisation reported that since yesterday, scores of Palestinians have died throughout the Gaza Strip, including as a result of attacks on residences in the centre Nuseirat and Bureij districts and on displaced residents close to Khan Yunis in the south.
In the Saudi neighbourhood of Rafah, locals reported that a significant operation was in progress.
