Finance minister reaffirms commitment to export-led growth

Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb, the federal minister of finance and revenue, reiterated the government’s commitment to supporting export-led growth and creating a climate that is favourable to local manufacturers here on Thursday.

According to a press statement released by the finance ministry, the minister was speaking with a team from the Pakistan Mobile Phone Manufacturers Association (PMPMA) when they paid him a visit.

He underlined the significance of upholding policy continuity and sharpening attention to the export policy framework.

The minister emphasised the government’s commitment to growing the nation’s whole digital ecosystem while acknowledging the insightful criticism.

The PMPMA delegation had earlier expressed gratitude to the minister and emphasised the need for a stable and encouraging legislative framework that supports regional producers.
