Azerbaijan President Aliyev in Islamabad on a two-day official visit

At Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s invitation, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev arrived here on Thursday for a two-day official visit from July 11–12.President Aliyev was greeted cordially by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and cabinet colleagues, including Ministers of Interior Mohsin Naqvi and Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, upon disembarking from his specially designed aircraft at Nur Khan Airbase.The arrival of the dignitary was marked by a 21-gun salute, and two young girls wearing traditional attire gave him flowers.President Aliyev will meet with President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz during his visit.To further improve bilateral collaboration, both sides will hold in-depth conversations on topics of shared interest.
